A charismatic actor, who hails from Delray Beach, Florida via Jersey City, New Jersey; is a rising star in the independent film world. Combining confidence and athleticism, Alfred E. Rutherford shines through the screen as a fresh face who delivers a spectacular performance as the star of the feature film Algeny. During his childhood he moved from Florida to Abaco, Bahamas where his quest to be an actor began, as he studied theatre extensively. Upon returning to the U.S.A. Alfred had to fulfill a promise to his mother that he would get an education first. After graduating high school he attended Saint Peter’s College in Jersey City where he received a B.A. in Philosophy. Alfred graduated and started out in his pursuit of an acting career in New York City, quickly securing lead roles in several Short and independent Feature films like Better Dayz, Empty Hands, Liquor Swine and White Women, East River and he appeared in the major motion picture, “The Interpreter”. Alfred, who combines charisma and athleticism, has been featured in the August 2006 Kung- Fu magazine for a Martial Arts short film he stared in. |
